The main goal of the design is to offer a new optimal arrangement of what already exists, to fill in what is missing and to point out the underused potential of the building. We consider the main shortcoming of the current town hall to be the layout, which is confusing for the visitor, lacks a logical hierarchy of space and is not sufficiently representative in relation to the role that the town hall plays in the city.
We have purposefully modified the hall with the main staircase, which opens to the center of the building and from which you can enter the adjoining rooms. We fully incorporated the modern extension of the original town hall into the building and used its roof to establish a terrace accessible from the library in the attic.
