Victory in an international competition. The subject of the competition was the revitalization of the Grand Cinema in Zlín designed by the architect František Lydia Gahura and built by the Baťa company in 1933. It was the largest cinema in Czechoslovakia at that time, with 2,270 seats for spectators. The aim of the competition was to create conditions for the cinema that would meet the needs of a 21st century city.
The architectural competition was conducted in the form of a competitive dialogue.
